Reporter Nancy Cordes saw a “nearly all-white crowd” at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, DC, as she (at least an off-camera female voice) demanded of two black women who weren't afraid to attend: “I'm noticing that there aren't a lot of minorities here today. Why do you think that is?” One of the women shot back: “They're probably over there with Al Sharpton.

Isn't it funny that my eyes saw several, what some would call, (African) Americans, (Asian) Americans, and (Hispanic) Americans

So Glenn Beck of FAUX News is hosting a gathering of conservatives in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC to "Restore Honor" in America; and by "Divine Providence," as Beck so humbly put it, this rally just happened to fall on the 42nd anniversary of The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech. But wait. Beck assured his listeners that he would not stand on the same steps as Dr. King did when he gave that speech over four decades ago. Instead, Beck will stand a few steps lower from where MLK stood. Isn't that special? What humility the man has! Beck also scolded that liberals and whites don't own MLK and his legacy.


My only question is why is that Commie Martin Luther King so respected, worshiped, adores , and idolized?

(Washington and Lincoln no longer have holidays -- they share the generic-sounding "President's Day.") A liberal judge has sealed the FBI files on King until the year 2027. What are they hiding? Let's take a look at this modern-day plastic god.

Born in 1929, King was the son of a Black preacher known at the time only as "Daddy King." "Daddy King" named his son Michael. In 1935, "Daddy King" had an inspiration to name himself after the Protestant reformer Martin Luther. He declared to his congregation that henceforth they were to refer to him as "Martin Luther King" and to his son as "Martin Luther King, Jr." None of this name changing was ever legalized in court. "Daddy" King's son's real name is to this day Michael King.

Do you think that Martin Luther King would be happy with Barack Obama as his president? I doubt it!

Affirmative action has done nothing but sown a sense of black entitlement into our social fabric. They expect to get twice as much for being half as smart and half as hard working as everybody else. How Liberals Think!

I just got back from a stroll through the Liberal-cesspool of blogs.
Though liberals do a great deal of talking about hearing other points of view, it sometimes shocks them to learn that there ARE other points of view.

Political correctness is a wonderful example of how liberals think. They pull some “offensive” (to them) idea out of the miasma of their minds and put government authority behind it. As a result, colleges are staffed with race relations police who monitor what is said and read body language. Infractions are handled with reeducation or expulsion.

The fetus is property and just cells.

Enforcing immigration law is profiling.

Opposing Obama is racism.

Tax cuts are only doing the bidding of the super rich.

Supporting business is crushing the employee.

Fox News is Faux News.

And the list goes on. There is no intelligent debate in these nuggets of liberal truth. You just dare not challenge them without proving to the world that you are an idiot.

Progressives are, at their core, self-absorbed bullcrap artists. They are convinced of their moral and intellectual superiority, and above all, take whatever action they feel necessary to achieve whatever goal they decide needs to be achieved.

I saw a comment the other day that really brought it home for me. The article points out that Obama is fond of saying he will "Fight for You". Who is he fighting? Reagan fought communists. Bush 1 fought Saddam Hussein after he invaded Kuwait.
George W. Bush fought the Taliban and Al Quaida. Who is Obama fighting? You and me fellow conservatives. He embraces the enemy and talks about reconciliation. to us, he offers threats. We represent the British who beat his Kenyan grandfather. Its a class war started by the most classless man ever elected to the job of President. We have become the enemy in this twisted new world

Today we hear that President Obama, in trying to persuade ten Democrats (who seem to care more about silly things like the Constitution, their constituents’ wishes, and the solvency of the United States than they do about the president’s socialist agenda) who voted against the Stalinization plan for the US health care industry last fall to change their sides, will be hosting them at the White House tonight

Is Obama really only a Man?

Obama never campaigns. He walks among us. Well….. he walks among those carefully screened to walk among. He talks with us. He lifts up our souls. He brings government funded blessings upon us. He does not toil with the mundane, such as where the money is coming from. He promises those who have lost their jobs that the Bush caused crisis is now in the crosshairs of hope and change. He loves all those who love him. He organizes those who will organize and he leads them to the valley where the organized people go. He restores their souls. They sit beside still waters and they watch his motorcade drive by as they sweat the honest sweat of sitting and waiting for the government to save them.

And only one year in Office.

Obama could do all that but it’s clearly out of character for him.

1 year in office almost complete and we’ve had the WH turned into a political operation where campaign practices are the norm —you and I and probably other commenters here, Dan, have been around past WH Administrations and know that, until Obama, the real lever operators inside any Administration have been the policy wonks and professional managers –not the political hacks left over from the campaign. It’s the latter in Obama’s Camp, 24 x 7. How can you expect bipartisanship when the leadership team lives and breathes partisanship?

Partisanship is rife inside the Oval Office, skip the WH. In the first year we’ve had an attempt to start up a Nixonian Era Enemies List by some of the very people who might have been on the original list and know far, far better than to do something like this… a WH Office of Fishey Comments asking citizens to rat out opponents on the net… and all of these have the fingerprint of our most famous community organizer and Chicago Thug all over ‘em.

Obama Vs. Bush

Maybe my memory is just selective, but I don’t remember President Bush using the authority and constitutionally derived power of his office to attack CNN during his time in office. Oh, I’m sure he said a comment or two that could be considered that way, but never as an active and concentrated policy. For some reason having the President act this way comes off as rather tyranical- isn’t this the type of stuff they do in poor improvised brutal dictatorships?
