Say you’re a Democratic member of Congress. You proudly cast your vote for Obamacare, you cheered when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hailed it as the achievement of a generation and you scoffed at Republicans who vowed to repeal it. Now you’re running for re-election, and a voter asks: What is the most important thing you’ve done in the last two years?

The answer should be easy. In passing the national health care bill, you accomplished something your party dreamed of for decades. It was your most important vote, and now is the time to take credit for it.

Except it’s not.

The Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid declares the war in Iraq "is lost", with our troops still in the field, Dick Durbin, Democratic Senator from Illinois compares our soldiers in the Middle East to Nazis, Barack Hussein Obama, our Democratic President, claimed we were "air raiding villages" in Iraq, And the GOP IS SIDING WITH THE TERRORISTS??? Please. Never in the history of the United States has a political party been so divisive, so seditious or so corrupt as the Democrats. But retribution is approaching. Why would Mr. Obama want to listen to people who cling to guns, Bibles and go bowling. What that hell do they know? He is after all, the historic this and the first that.
He knows what is best. Right?
We are just unable to understand him and his plan. Right?
He just needs to explain things in simpler terms. Right?

Call Me Cynical, But…

Today we hear that President Obama, in trying to persuade ten Democrats (who seem to care more about silly things like the Constitution, their constituents’ wishes, and the solvency of the United States than they do about the president’s socialist agenda) who voted against the Stalinization plan for the US health care industry last fall to change their sides, will be hosting them at the White House tonight

Is Obama really only a Man?

Obama never campaigns. He walks among us. Well….. he walks among those carefully screened to walk among. He talks with us. He lifts up our souls. He brings government funded blessings upon us. He does not toil with the mundane, such as where the money is coming from. He promises those who have lost their jobs that the Bush caused crisis is now in the crosshairs of hope and change. He loves all those who love him. He organizes those who will organize and he leads them to the valley where the organized people go. He restores their souls. They sit beside still waters and they watch his motorcade drive by as they sweat the honest sweat of sitting and waiting for the government to save them.

And only one year in Office.

Obama could do all that but it’s clearly out of character for him.

1 year in office almost complete and we’ve had the WH turned into a political operation where campaign practices are the norm —you and I and probably other commenters here, Dan, have been around past WH Administrations and know that, until Obama, the real lever operators inside any Administration have been the policy wonks and professional managers –not the political hacks left over from the campaign. It’s the latter in Obama’s Camp, 24 x 7. How can you expect bipartisanship when the leadership team lives and breathes partisanship?

Partisanship is rife inside the Oval Office, skip the WH. In the first year we’ve had an attempt to start up a Nixonian Era Enemies List by some of the very people who might have been on the original list and know far, far better than to do something like this… a WH Office of Fishey Comments asking citizens to rat out opponents on the net… and all of these have the fingerprint of our most famous community organizer and Chicago Thug all over ‘em.

Obama Vs. Bush

Maybe my memory is just selective, but I don’t remember President Bush using the authority and constitutionally derived power of his office to attack CNN during his time in office. Oh, I’m sure he said a comment or two that could be considered that way, but never as an active and concentrated policy. For some reason having the President act this way comes off as rather tyranical- isn’t this the type of stuff they do in poor improvised brutal dictatorships?
